Matt founded Newtonwood in 2011, after spending his earlier career working at several leading London consultancy practices.
Years of experience in procurement, all aspects of construction, and managing designers, contractors and suppliers makes him the best person to lead on project management. His granular focus combined with an ability to see the whole picture means he can identify issues and help clients make informed decisions. His advice is always easy to digest, even the most complex topics are explained simply.
Matt is not only directly involved with clients and projects, but also manages the Newtonwood team and the strategic direction of the business.

Tomos’s level headed and methodical approach allows him to be extremely effective at communicating clear and valuable advice to all his clients. Tomos joined Newtonwood in 2017 and has played a key part in developing and training staff and building a successful team.
His detailed understanding of technical and contractual mechanisms mean he will challenge and question everything and sees nothing on face value and always strives for the best value and quality for clients.
Tomos is directly involved in managing projects and leads on the Cost Consultancy and Quantity Surveying side of the business.
